DARK HONEY X
DARK HONEY was recorded during a rehearsal session on December 14, 2024. We revisited the song "Pacific Trash Vortex" (from the album SULFUR, released in 2018), a favorite often requested by our friend Silver Cris at every show. I don’t think we’ve ever played this song live! The title track, "Dark Honey," serves as a soundtrack for films where we take long walks through city streets, evoking the atmospheres of directors such as Michelangelo Antonioni, Jean-Luc Godard, Gus Van Sant, Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders, Aki Kaurismäki, Hal Hartley, and Wong Kar-wai.<br /> <br /> The other tracks are improvisations—an exploration of new directions since we just finished recording a new album a week before. Let's see where we go next. "What?", "Who?", and "Why?" were selected by Julia, while "Shades" and "Don't Follow Me" were my choices. This session was recorded by Mari Crestani at the new 7Lira studio in Porta, São Paulo.

HOLOGRAM is a selection of recordings from our rehearsal sessions on May 30 and June 1, 2024. We’re working on a new album to be released in 2025. We hope to get there, but reality signals dire months ahead for Earth. Here we are, writing new songs, stunned by the madness that has taken over the world, and figuring out how to leave the planet before nuclear war breaks out. From now on, the future is just a faint shadow. SAY NO TO WW3. We need peace and de-escalation! We hope these songs recharge you. Let's STOP the war machine before it is too late!
